Hello Parents and Students,
I have been working on getting this website up and running. This website is where you will be able to see what we worked on in class every day. I will post assignments that we did in class or that was assigned as homework for students to be able to access from home. Papers handed out in class will be posted on this page along with a brief description of that days agenda. I have attached my class syllabus, and lab safety rules below for students and parents to access.
The past couple of days we have discussed class expectations, lab safety, and the scientific method. Students have created lab safety posters and as a class all posters were voted on. The top 3-4 posters with the most votes are displayed in the classroom for the rest of the year. Students will be keeping essential facts binders throughout the year. These binders will contain their notes, practice, homework, and labs for the year. With keeping up on the binders students will be creating study guides for their tests throughout the year.
Materials needed for class:
Students will be able to store their binders in class on days they don't need to take them home.
If you have any questions when looking over these documents don't hesitate to contact me through my contact page here on the website or by emailing me at [email protected]. I understand the email and my name don't match. My email is set-up under my maiden name and is the best way to get ahold of me.
I look forward to exploring the world of Chemistry and Physics this year! Let's ask questions, do experiments, and use science to learn about the world around us.
